The Meet Cute
Sarah and Brendan first crossed paths in 2014 in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.
They were both on a trip called The Yacht Week island hopping around Croatia. Sarah “floated over like a mermaid” and Brendan pulled her up onto his raft. The rest, as they say, is history.
The Manhattan Years
Their paths merged again in NYC where they bonded over their love for travel, hands up energy, and chasing sunsets.
Sarah had moved to NYC for coding school and ended up staying for a job offer (and maybe for Brendan too). They had their first official date at Pier A in Battery Park where they drank rosé, watched the sunset behind Lady Liberty, and talked about all the places they wanted to see in their lifetime.
The years following consisted of Brendan teaching Sarah how to ride the subway, many workout classes (shoutout ClassPass unlimited), stalking reservations on The Infatuation Hit List, lots of checkmarks on their bucket list and galavanting around the city like it was a cheesy New York romcom come to life.
To Brooklyn We Go
In 2018, they moved into their dream apartment together in Williamsburg, overlooking the NYC skyline.
There they hosted many parties, started businesses, befriended all the farmers at North Brooklyn farms, welcomed home their King Charles Cavalier Lady, traveled some more and watched sunsets like it was a religion.
They currently live a few ferry stops down the East River in Brooklyn Heights.
The Engagement
In 2021, they got engaged at one of their favorite summer spots, Sunset Beach, in Shelter Island NY.
The next few days consisted of eating spaghetti vongole, drinking champagne, boating on the bay, painting, dreaming — and of course watching the sunset. It was a perfect weekend and representation of all their favorite things.
They celebrated their engagement again in Mallorca at the very place where they will be hosting their wedding weekend! They knew right away that Mallorca was a special place that they would be returning for years to come.
The Civil Ceremony
Last fall, Brendan and Sarah made things legally official during an intimate civil ceremony at Central Park overlooking Bethesda Terrace.
Brendan’s oldest childhood friend, JM Nitti, officiated and Lady was the flower girl. Sarah and Brendan are so grateful to celebrate this new chapter with you all and can’t wait to exchange vows in front of their family and friends who have supported their journey through the years. See you in Mallorca!
