When should I arrive in Mallorca?

We recommend arriving on Thursday, June 12. This will give you enough time to settle in prior to the welcome party on Friday evening.

What do I need to travel to Mallorca?

To travel to Mallorca you will need a passport with at least 3 months of validity, although 6 months is recommended. Please check your passport for the expiration date!

How do I get to my hotel from the aiport?

You can take a taxi directly from the Mallorca airport. Upon exiting there is a taxi line with frequent taxis available. The ride is approx. 30 minutes to Port de Sóller and cost €65 - €80. Alternatively, you can arrange for transportation ahead of time via Perfect Charter.

What payment is accepted in Mallorca?

The local currency in Mallorca is the euro. Almost everywhere on the island, including taxis, accepts credit or debit card payments (just be sure to check with taxis in advance if you plan to use a card). We also recommend calling your bank before your trip to let them know you're traveling. That said, it's always a good idea to have a small amount of local currency on hand in cash, just in case!

Where do you recommend we stay?

We recommend our guests to stay at Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel , Hotel Eden, or Hotel Es Port in Port de Sóller. We will be arranging transportation from these hotels to the wedding events. The wedding party will be staying at the wedding venue. If you are in the wedding party you will be contacted about this separately.

That said, there are many amazing options in the nearby areas of Port de Sóller, Sóller, and Deia. We encourage you to stay wherever you’d like!

When should I book my room?

Hotel bookings are now open for our recommended hotels with options for free cancelation and no deposit required. We recommend booking as soon as possible as June is peak season in Mallorca!

How do I get around the island?

Taxis are easily accessible from the hotels and main hub in Port de Sóller. You can also take the tram between Port de Sóller and the main town of Sóller. We recommend renting a car if you are planning to explore more of the island!

Transportation will be coordinated to/from the wedding and pool party. The welcome party is a short taxi ride or walk away from the recommended hotels in Port de Sóller. More information will be provided via email as the date gets closer!

Can I bring a date?

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only celebration.

What will the weather be like?

Mallorca weather in June typically ranges from mid 60’s to high 70’s.

Is the wedding outdoors?

The wedding will take place predominantly outdoors. There are indoor spaces at the venue that can be visited as needed.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.

What is the best way to stay up to date?

We will be updating the website accordingly as we learn more details about transportation, event timing, etc. We will also keep you in the loop with important updates via email — please add mallorcamurphy@gmail.com to your address book so we don’t end up in spam!
